Join us for a unique, self-supported, one-day pilgrimage to Green Gulch Farm as three groups of pilgrims start from different locations and converge at Green Gulch farm for the Sunday morning program and lunch. Each group contemplates a spiritual theme that we share at the Zen center and develop for the return to the start location by mid- to late-afternoon. If you prefer the full morning program, you can go directly to the farm and other pilgrims will join after the meditation session.
Self-supported means bring your own food and water, stick with your group, and support your fellow pilgrims. There is no logistical support, no rest stops, no SAG vehicles. Just as you are responsible for your own spiritual path, you are the creator of your pilgrimage, you decide what to bring, and you plan for the well-being of those around you.
This daylong pilgrimage is offered on a donation (dana) basis. We invite you to give from the heart directly to the Green Gulch Farm during our visit. The DharmaWheels Foundation incurs no costs and asks for no donations on this day.
Here’s a link to the Green Gulch program. There’s meditation at 9:15am, a dharma talk at 10:00, and a small farmers market. Bring your own lunch or make a donation and join the provided lunch at 12:15. http://sfzc.org/green-gulch/zen-meditation-practice/sunday-program-link
