We still have need for for someone to step up and take on a few volunteers roles. We will also need a great variety of volunteers to fill many others roles.  The following are some primary roles that we need help with.

Volunteer coordinator

  • plugs the volunteers into the volunteer slots
  • makes sure the pit and SAG coordinators give instructions to the volunteers before the BBP
Pit crew coordinator:
  • divides food between two teams on Sat. and Sun. mornings
  • gives instructions to team members on serving food, water
  • gives instructions on what to do when we run out of stuff
  • meets with the pit crew volunteers at least 2 days before to prepare them for Saturday morning
  • comes up with alphabetical list of items to be collected on Sat. AM

Monastics coordinator

  • recruits volunteer to buy and bring food for the monastics on Saturday afternoon at the campsite
  • ensures monastics have what they need on Sat. and Sun.
  • schedules monastics

We are also in need training ride leaders.  Please let us know if you are willing to lead rides in your area.
